Where is your Treasure?

     Our lesson today is in Matthew 6: 19-21.  Jesus says, do not accumulate treasures upon the Earth. Items can rust, moths ruin things, and a thief can break in and steal. So lay up for yourself treasures in heaven where moth or rust will not destroy, and thieves will not break through and steal.  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 

        What do you treasure?  How can you lay up treasure in Heaven? I recently read a story of a blind lady that memorized the whole New Testament of the bible. Her treasure is Jesus and studying his word. If an evil power took her bible, they wouldn't steal her knowledge. So let us be good stewards of what God gave us. Pray, worship, and study God's word. Tell others about Jesus and bring a friend to church.
