Bethel is getting older

Bethel Missionary Baptist Church held it's first service December 11,1955.  Bethel was a branch from Bethlehem Baptist Church. 

This is the third church building on this site. The first building was donated huts that were torn down from Camp Lejeune and reconstructed on this site into a one room building.  The second building was a white cement block building. It had classrooms and bathrooms. The sanctuary of that building was burned in January 1976. This brings us to the building we use today. The establishment of Bethel is 65 years old.  Happy Birthday Bethel!!
