But God

     Have you heard the expression, but God? God is behind the scenes, watching our lives play out and seeing every minute detail fall into place. 

    I recently went to the funeral of a lady I didn't know. Her mother had visited our church several times, and I wanted to be there for her. I found the small church and had to park in the driveway because there was no more room. I got out of my vehicle and walked toward the church. I heard someone yell, HEY. I turned and looked. It was my brother and sister-in-law. They had parked in the driveway directly behind me. They live two counties over and at least one and a half hours away. I thought, why are you here?

    I discovered that my brother and the husband of the lady who passed away work together. I had not seen my brother in three months, so it was good to spend time with them and sit together.   

     Amazingly, my brother and sister-in-law showed up at the same funeral as me. We both had to GPS the church's location, and he parked directly behind me. Only God could have arranged our chance meeting. It indeed was a "but God" moment.
