God's Perfect Timing
Have you seen God's blessings pour out right before your eyes? The following true story is one of many I wrote down through the years showing God's love toward my family. This story takes place in the year 1997 before we had GPS.
A few years ago, I drove my two daughters to their orthodontist appointments in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This was a task for me. I had not driven long distances before by myself. I also have eye problems. The sun's rays make my eyes feel like they are sunburned. On the morning of the trip, I prayed for our protection and that the sun would not hurt my eyes.
The trip was nice. The sky was overcast all day. Arriving in Fayetteville, I followed my husband's written directions to the orthodontist office. We turned left after the bridge going into town. I drove three miles and turned right by the BP station. Our next instruction was to take the second right after the water tower. I asked the girls to help me find the water tower. I drove for miles. Finally, I rounded a curve and noticed a single sunbeam shining down on the water tower. I was in awe. God was pointing out that water tower just for me. We didn't see the sun the rest of that day. God did have the perfect timing.
