Reconnecting With God

     Read Nehemiah chapter 9 verses 1-3. The children of Israel humbled themselves and worshiped God. Notice how long they confessed their sins and worshiped the Lord. How long do you spend with the Lord?

     The children of Israel assembled on the 24th day of the month with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.The seed of Israel separated themselves from strangers, and stood and confessed their sins and iniquities of their fathers.They stood in their place and read in the book of the law of the Lord their God one-fourth part of the day, and another fourth part they confessed and worshiped the Lord their God. 

     The priests and levites stood on the stairs.  They gave praise to God and recalled the blessings God gave them throughout the generations. Read Nehemiah 9:4-38.Count the blessings God gave to the Israelite people.
