The Devine Appointment

    Have you ever made an appointment and forgot you had one?   Luke 19: 1-10, shows   Zaccheus  had an appointment he didn't even  know about.

    Zaccheus was a chief tax collector and a wealthy man.   He was of small statue, and was not liked among the people.  He heard Jesus was passing through Jericho and was determined to see him.  He ran ahead of the crowd and climbed a sycamore tree in order to get a better look at Jesus.  

    When Jesus got to the tree he looked up,  saw him, and called him by name.  He said,  Zaccheus, make haste and come down; for today I must abide at your house.  

    The bible says, he made haste, came down, and received him joyfully.  

    The people complained when they saw it, they said you are a guest of a sinner.  

    Zaccheus said, Lord the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

    Jesus said  unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.  For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. 

     Have you had a devine appointment with Jesus?   Jesus died on the cross for you!! Will you live for him?
