The Good News!
Read Luke 2: 8-20. Picture in your mind the angels appearing to the shepherds. Imagine how the shepherds felt.
The angel of the Lord came upon the shepherds watching their flock at night. The angel told them to fear not. For, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. A sign will be unto you. You will find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger. Then suddenly there were a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
When the angels left, the shepherds said let us go to Bethlehem and see the child the Lord has made known to us. They went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. When they had seen him, they made it known abroad concerning the child. They returned glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen.
Let us share the "Good News" of our Savior with others. Let us glorify and praise him in all things.
